The Indie Boards and Cards Flash Point Fire Rescue 2nd Edition is a fully cooperative (co-op) board game where 2 to 6 players play on the same firefighting team. Every turn is filled with the tension of having to fight the fire back, rescuing victims or investigating points of interest. Flash Point has a playtime of 30 minutes but we have found that this is more like the minimum amount as we have had games last for hours. In addition, no two games are ever the same – and with two rule sets and 3 different difficulty levels there is a challenge to be had for all.

We would argue that the Indie Boards and Cards Flash Point Fire Rescue 2nd Edition board game strengths more than just your communication skills. This game has the potential to do the following:
- Teaches couples how to adapt to new environments together. You see, after a player finishes their actions, they must roll a couple dices that determine were the next smoke token goes. Now if the location is on another smoke token, then that token turns into a fire token, but if the location is a fire token, then there is an explosion where fire tokens are placed in all four directions of the location rolled.
- Encourages couples to plan ahead. In our experience a huge advantage in winning this game involves separating duties. Usually one person takes care of the fires where the other focuses on rescuing victims.
